Irrisoft Inc., a manufacturer located in Logan, develops climate-controlled irrigation systems, otherwise known as “smart irrigation control.” The smart technology allows residential and commercial users to reduce water consumption and costs by efficiently managing irrigation through automated settings.

Mike Young is an avid entrepreneur and small business advocate currently serving as the Assistant Director of the Logan SBDC. In addition to his role with the SBDC, Young is presently the co-owner of Precision Business Systems, a document management company located in Cache Valley where he has served in a variety of managerial and consulting roles.

In March 2010, Jay and Yvonne Russell came to the Logan Small Business Development Center (SBDC) seeking assistance. Jay had recently been laid off and the couple decided it was time to purchase their own business. After discussing a number of businesses with the SBDC, a narrow list of possibilities was created and examined closely.
