The United States Citizenship and Immigration Service’s Utah High Country EB-5 Regional Center (UHCRC) program provides a way for immigrants to enter the USA legally and work toward permanent residency by investing $500,000 or more in our economy and create 10 or more jobs in the USA with that investment.
The role of the EB-5 Center is to match a foreign investor with investment opportunities and manage that relationship. “The foreign nationals interested in this program are only approved after an extremely rigorous background check by the Federal Government,” states Wayne Wickizer, President of UHCRC.
Business owners Wayne and Debra Wickizer of the EB-5 Center had worked with the Vernal Small Business Development Center for over 3 years. Their advisor, Mark Holmes was available to assist with any questions that came up during each state of their business development.
UHCRC had its first project approved by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Service upon initial opening of their business by successfully matching a private investor with Go Natural CNC. Go Natural CNC has developed a high horsepower compressed natural gas delivery system suitable for private vehicles and large, over-the-road trucking companies which have been completely dependent upon diesel fuel. This single project will create more than 90 Utah jobs.
The Vernal SBDC congratulates the Wickizer’s on their new business venture. Utah’s economic future is quite a bit brighter because of their vision, dedication and success.
