Utah’s Small Business Development Center (SBDC) program provides assistance to small businesses through training, counseling and access to resources.

Ninety-five percent of clients surveyed said Utah SBDC services are beneficial. Last year the Utah SBDC network spent more than 16,000 hours providing one-on-one counseling to nearly 3,000 clients. No other resource fills the need for services provided by the Utah SBDC network.

In our 15 locations, hosted by Utah’s colleges and universities, small business owners can come for help and counseling on topics ranging from financing and budgets to research assistance to business plans. The SBDC is also a vital link for people seeking highly specialized services through other Utah organizations such as the UBiDS, Utah MEP, USTAR and others. Local small business development centers are a core part of Business Resource Centers (BRC) in areas with a BRC.

Sincerely,
